Per LSUSports.net: BATON ROUGE — Cam Little’s 37-yard field goal in the first overtime period Saturday night lifted No. 25 Arkansas to a 16-13 win over LSU in Tiger Stadium. Arkansas ended a five-game losing streak to the Tigers and claimed the Golden Boot for the first time since 2015.

The Razorbacks improved to 7-3 overall and 3-3 in the SEC, while LSU dropped to 4-6 overall and 2-5 in conference play.

Arkansas defensive back Montaric Brown intercepted a pass from LSU quarterback Garrett Nussmeier in the end zone on the Tigers’ first overtime possession.

Taking over at the LSU 25-yard line for its OT possession, quarterback KJ Jefferson ran the football three straight times, setting the stage for Little’s game-winning kick.

It seemed to me the underneath stuff was working on offense last night but OC refused to call it more frequently. Tried to push the ball down the field a little too much. Maybe just too aggressive. Take what’s there. Get first downs. Score more points.

Brutal? That’s sensationalized. It was a marginally bad team playing as they were expected to play.

'Brutal' meaning we could/should have won that game

He was pretty bad against Bama and looked equally bad to start this game, so LSU tried another QB. And to be honest, had Peetz not called the inexplicable Wildcat play with LSU leading and about to likely go up 2 scores, then we're likely discussing an LSU win right now.

Don't understand why Max isn't the QB, he was honestly one of the only bright spots we had the last 2 seasons

Are you on drugs?

Max would be good if he had protection.

“Max would be good if he had protection.” WUT? Did you see when Max stood in the pocket for 3 minutes and still got sacked?

Put Max back in

Nuss and Peetz suck.

Thank the lord the NCAA was allowing every random sponsor to start a bowl during the 2000s so they had to allow .500 (and even sub .500) teams into bowls. LSU really dodged a bullet about being embarrassed last year if the had not been bowl eligible.

National champs to no bowl game in two years. Amazing.

One. We ducked the Bowl game last year, remember?

How’d that Nuss bus experiment work out for all you Max Haters?
Reply13 days
No different than Kentucky and Bama. And I like Max. But yes, the Max haters were being dramatic as usual on this board.

Lol you’re an idiot. The first real snaps he’s ever had. He has the arm and mobility, Max is in a statute who camps in the pocket. Get out of here with that shite.

nuss got a td. worked better than max.

Let this football season be OVER ????????????

"brutal"?? really? we were 4-5 going into the game... it's not like it was some sort of make or break game... realistically, in the grand scheme and within context of the shittiness of the season thus far, it's pretty inconsequential and on brand for this coaching staff and team

I remember reading if a QB got hot he was gonna play. Still waiting on one to get hot.

Wow, that Nuss bus everyone was screaming about looked like more of a clown car.
Reply13 days
Yeah but Min Johnson has not been great either. At least the young kid has some kind of upside....and nuts.

That was a winnable game. Play calling a bit of a wreck. And can they put QB sneak into the playbook? When you need an inch why are you in shotgun? Not just LSU but most colleges. Dumb.
Reply13 days
Because the OC is not good.

Apparently, "brutal" means "well deserved"
