LSU Safety Todd Harris Announces He's Coming Back Next Season

By Staff Reporter•Jan 14, 20219:26 pm•

Derick E. Hingle-USA TODAY Sports

LSU junior safety Todd Harris announced on social media Thursday that he will be returning to the team next season.

Harris, a junior from Plaquemine, La. played in all 10 games, with six starts this past season after missing most of 2019 with an ACL injury.

The departure of senior JaCoby Stevens means that Harris, along with Maurice Hampton Jr., Cameron Lewis, and Jordan Toles will hold down the back end of LSU's secondary in 2021. Incoming freshmen Sage Ryan, Derrick Davis, and Matthew Langlois could also be options for the Tigers next season.

Negativity is the cornerstone of a lazy unproductive life. Ignore the haters and enjoy one of the best off-seasons in LSU football history! Geaux Tigers!!

We get good news and yet we have so many shitty posts on here? What's wrong with yall?

Welcome back Mr. Harris. Geaux Tigers.

There are a lot of assholes in these comments. Are they really necessary? Why not just be happy for the kids that decide to stay in school and go on with the rest of your day?

brewdrees•69 months

It's called telling the truth.

Three things to work on during the offseason, 1. tackling, 2. tackling and 3. tackling.

partyboy1930•69 months

Shouldn’t even be a story. If he left, he wouldn’t even get drafted. Thanks for the news

I agree

Notorious DJT•69 months

Was this necessary? ..... Your post that is.... Kinda shitty.

bayoucook•69 months

Agreed, why are undraftable players a story? There’s been allot of those. Maybe it’s because TD is shocked that so many players are staying after this horrible season.

I'm not trying to be negative, but I doubt he starts over Ryan and Davis. This is still great news though!

wesman21•69 months

Fair assessment. Supposedly Corey Raymond compared Ryan to Jamal Adams. Kid is going to be the next great safety.
