The Texas A&M University Police Department released a statement to The Chronicle regarding the postgame incident between LSU and Aggie staffers and said that Steve Kragthorpe retracted his statement about being hit it the chest.
quote:

In addition, A&M police issued a report concerning Kragthorpe.

" ... The victim ... initially said he was hit but later retracted the statement," the report read. "He said he was not struck and did not want to press charges, nor would he offer any details about the incident. The officer asked the man if he needed to call a paramedic and be examined; the man declined medical attention."
LSU released the following statement Monday night to make it clear that Kragthorpe did not retract his statement about being hit in the pacemaker.

jimbo fisher will leave A&M with the same program he left Fla. State. As soon as he realizes his team is heading down he will abandone it so quick he will make a world record in how fast he leaves a crater behind him. Without the refs he loses and finishes 7-5. Hell Sumlin did better than that. Fisher aint shite and we will be ready for their arse next year. A&M will always be second fiddle to Texas and finish 4th or 5th in the sec west.

Assuming that Kragthorpe is OK, both schools need to shut up and let this go.

Yea the incident was unfortunate and charges should be pressed on that punk but in addition lets not forget how badly we were cheated by the refs.

So the Texas A&M police are claiming kragthorpe retracted his statement. Kragthorpe and LSU are saying he didn’t. Wasn’t Florida state police just in some trouble a few years ago for sweeping stuff under the rug? Didn’t take long for jimbo to get the corruption running there.

From an Aggie fan, this was just some unfortunate reactions that are a fail on both sides. I can't justify what Craig was trying to accomplish, and the various videos show that Cole Fisher was trying to prevent a physical confrontation. Wider camera evidence: Kragthorpe approached him inside his personal space while his back was turned. Cole reacted by pushing Krag back, not knowing he had a pacemaker, a modest push if you ask me. Did Krag double over as he said he did? No. Irrelevant, though, as it was enough physical motion to get the attention of Faulk who also acted poorly (or richly according to half the LSU fanbase, whatevs). Cole took a punch or two for trying to keep the peace and paid a price. Congrats, I guess. Scoreboard, I guess. Krag, catching the open hand on his chest in the wrong place, probably let the pain and emotion get the best of him, telling the cops he was "punched". I'm sure if he sees the replay of the numerous camera angles, he'd nut up like the rest of us and say it was just an unfortunate case of being in the wrong place at wrong time, just like Cole Fisher, who took a couple shots to the face. Nobody wins the "who's the sleaziest program" argument over a brief encounter of misfortunes. Enough the the "so-and-so" needs to be fired crap.

Regardless of how it started, LSU is becoming a national embarrassment. Cry baby U, post game fighting U, etc.

So are you saying that the postgame fight was somehow LSU's fault? What exactly should anyone representing LSU have done to prevent this? Have you contacted LSU to offer your PR services to them?

Might as well get used to it, A&M is the new Auburn.

Steve Kragthorpe need to file charges and make it official and get Law Enforcement involve. Evidently AM is willing to destroy People's reputation to saved their own and they dont care how it is done and to whom.

I can't compute how you people can keep saying this. Charges for being shoved? Krag was questionably aggressive. Can't use Parkinson's when you are moving toward other people. There's a lot of wrong on both sides.

Exactly. He sure saw to it that his sex offender QB got him a national championship. And the sideline skirmish would never have happened if Dameyune Craig had acted like he's been there before.

If we had been aggressive enough to make that first down late in the 4th qtr none of this nonsense would have happened.

If the Aggies and Mizzou had never been admitted to the SEC none of this nonsense would have happened.
