LSU sophomore running back Lanard Fournette, the younger brother of Leonard Fournette, was arrested and booked into East Baton Rouge Parish Prison after he was allegedly caught gambling with a false ID at L'Auberge Casino in Baton Rouge on Monday. Per The Advocate:
quote:

Fournette, 20, of Slidell, was given bond of $1,000. An LSU team spokesman did not immediately respond to a message for comment.

Security video showed Fournette playing at a “craps table” for 16 minutes at about 1:30 p.m., before walking to the player’s services counter. Fournette then allegedly presented his real ID to the cashier for a cash withdrawal, who determined his age and contacted security.

Fournette was detained at the casino, but left before an officer's arrival, police said. When being questioned, Fournette said he used another person's ID to enter the casino, according to police.

How do you explain Ryan Perilloux getting kicked of the team for literally exactly the same offense, then? A player with astronomically more potential/

RP had plenty of other mistakes apparently. Missed workouts, team meetings and skipping class. He then failed a drug test.

He probably used Perrilloux's ID to get in.

Everyone has tried this at one time or another. Remember, he's just a teenager. The only thing he did wrong was not leaving his actual ID at home! I agree that 18 should be the legal age. If you're old enough to fight for your country, you're old enough to drink and gamble if you want to.

To all those people calling him a moron or an idiot, show me an 18-20 year old who isn't. Most are. Not a smart move, but also not something uncommon for someone that age. Hopefully he learns from it.

Percentage wise it's uncommon. Give me a break. There's no excuse for this.

he could win far more money by not showing up to a casino, wait til you are at least 21 and walla problem fixed. if he wanted to win some money at a casino before 21 simple solution, give it to his mother or older brother so that they can do it legal but i make way too much sence so what do i know. carry on keep doing dumb things and get arrested :)
