Fox Sports' Bruce Feldman tweeted out some NFL roster stats this week which shows a "breakdown by position of colleges with the most players in the NFL." LSU led the running back group with 6 players and was tied with Alabama for the most defensive tackle in the league at 6.

The breakdown came from the NFL office and is based on players who were on active NFL rosters for Week 1, according to Feldman.

LSU's running backs that are in the NFL are Derrius Guice (Redskins), Darrel Williams (Chiefs), Leonard Fournette (Jaguars), Jeremy Hill (Patriots), Alfred Blue (Texans), and Spencer Ware (Chiefs).

If Bama wasn't in our Division we'd definitely have a few more trophies in the case. But alas, they are,and we must deal with it. Saban is the most successful coach ever to coach Bama, so that hurts too. But we must break through soon.

With all that talent should have been National Champ U. I guess Bama will have to accept that now that we have taken over NFLU as well.

So does this indicate dominant interior defense wins national championships?

And the 6 count for RB does not include Hill or Moore who were on the IR/PUP list before Week 1.

For DT, Freak is also on the IR list. +1 for DT

Hill ran 4 times for 25 yards and had 1 catch in W1 before getting injured.

My bad... Guice was the one injured before the season. But the point remains, there are actually 8 total RBs from LSU in the NFL. 5 active (Blue, Fournette, Ware, Ridley, Williams) and 3 are now on IR/PUP list (Guice, Hill, Moore).

I'd love to see the list of actual players from Ohio State. You know they're going to blast us on that.

The elephant in the room (pun intended) every time articles like this come out: Why can’t NFLU do better than going to some shite bowl every year these days?

Great and when does all this “NFLU” stuff actually lead to championships being won...either a conference one or a N.C. one?

When we get a coach who isn't allergic to a passing offense.
