Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports
LSU officially announced the hire of Dameyune Craig as the Tigers' new wide receiver coach on Sunday. He will replace Tony Ball who left the staff to pursue other coaching opportunities. Per LSUSports.net:
quote:Craig played quarterback at Auburn from 1994-1997 and was the quarterback coach at Florida State from 2010-2012. He comes to LSU after three years at Auburn as the co-offensive coordinator and wide receiver coach.
Craig comes to LSU with credentials of developing both quarterbacks and wide receivers at the collegiate level, while also having proven himself as an outstanding recruiter. He was named ACC Recruiter of the Year in 2012 and three quarterbacks who he either recruited or coached ended up being first round NFL Draft picks.
