First, the starting Mike Backer should be able to stand up our starting FB half of the time. Welter simply can't do that and the defense will be soft up the middle once again if he is not replaced. I love his dedication and all but it is what it is and we don't need to have such an unnecessary weakness when other players can do better. Wiscy will show us all that we need to know about the future of the MLB spot and Bama will exploit it much more effectively if we can't find a "Minter" like player to lock down that middle behind our already inexperienced DTs.

Secondly, in the first clip, I loved seeing the two QBs looking the other way before unloading to the receiver on their side. They need to practice it so that it will happen naturally in the games. LSU's ceiling with CCC at OC is limitless. This team will have the total package almost every year as long as Les has the Chief and Cam in BR.

yeah, fournette should've went straight, when he went to the corner they didn't make contact until they were near the cone already, you can tell V took a good shot when he made contact, but he just had enough leverage by the cone to put fournette around it

It's so nice to see our middle linebacker getting trucked by our smallest running back. :banghead:

Do we have any kicking videos yet?

I'd love to see some punting.

You think we'll punt this year?

Ya Avery dominated battle. That was probably the most obvious win of the drill.

I wasn't aware of just how big Darrell Williams is. Dude's legs are massive. Also, Tashawn Bower looked VERY explosive! Hope he gets into the rotation a good bit this season.

Fournette was suspect vs Voohries. V got him out of bounds before crossing.

AJ went beast mode against Collins.

Yep I am hoping that was just one bad moment for him because he really looked bad on that drill. Did not move his feet as all got destroyed by Neil.

Jennings made J Collins look stupid in the goal line drill and then looked very vocal in that big cat drill.. Where's Harris at?
