I read this as, “I share the concerns of the league office...but we still rushing the field after we beat Bama tho.”

Look, if we beat Bama, we are taking the field again.

If we beat Bama, I will personally mail $5 to cover the prettiest girl that ran onto the field.

Tear the goalposts down, in 97 florsux game i thought i would be trampled to death, last time i ever went on the field

If they charged each fan a small fee to be able to run on the field, he’d be all for it. Prob in the works as we speak.

The cost of the the fines is insignificant to the potential cost of a string of losses. I'm sure LSU is happy to deal with a couple of fines rather than the alternative.

He had to respond, and for once, he did something right. He didn't blast the fans or anything, just gave the appropriate response.

What are they gonna do? Put a net around the field? Shoot tear gas on the field? Every Saturday somewhere fans rush the field. FYI: Mall cops are not going to stop 20k fans

A ton of state troopers like they did in 2000

Joe has to make a statement. He spoke with actions in allowing the crowd on the field. Good work for once Joe.

I would mail them 2 100k check with one dated Nov 4th and in the notes section put “STTDB”

Alleva may also be paying for new goal posts if LSU beats Bama.

When, not if. When...

Joe has to say that for insurance purposes and to satisfy the SEC. We beat Bama and the goal posts come down like the old times!

What I want to hear our president say is “That was a great win and we enjoyed the celebration. Can we go ahead and put the check for when we rush the field after the Alabama game in the same envelope?”

I actually made a comment to a cop on the Tiger Eye that everyone is being pretty well-behaved. He agreed.

I totally agree. I was out there and everyone was just enjoying the joy of the moment. I didn't witness anyone acting in a dangerous manner.

have you seen the videos of students trying to jump that 3 foot fence... Once on the field, everything was all good.

If students can’t jump a 3 foot fence, then we need to update the P.E. Curriculum.

Pleasantly surprised by this statement. Kudos Joe. now, dont try to make the fine money back by taxing urinal usage next.

The increase in ticket prices alone more than covered the $100K fine. In fact, the revenue from the price increase for the tickets sold for this game alone, which was sold out (over 100,000 seats) paid for the fine.

Hell, they probably covered the 100k in concessions!
