Here's What The Expanded 12-Team CFP Bracket Would Look Like

The 12-team playoff is coming one year too late, but here's what it would look like, using the final college football playoff rankings that came out on Sunday.

No. 12. Oklahoma (10-2) and No. 13. LSU (9-3) would be the first two teams left out of the playoff.

It’s gonna be Bama v Texas rematch with Bama winning it all (unfortunately) & Saban riding off into the Miami Sunset. Texas basically gets a bye week, PAC-12 is soft!

Isn't the PAC 12 going away? If so, does that mean we get SEC, BIG 10, BIG 12 and ACC champs then two other conference champions like Liberty and SMU in final 12? If so, we'll have two garbage games to look forward to.

All these undefeated and 1 loss teams won't happen again for a while. This is extremely rare and we also rarely saw an upset this season, again, extremely rare. 9-3 teams will make it just about every year.

The fact that liberty would be considered is proof that 12 teams is too many. The drop off from 7 is substantial. If anything it should be a 6 team playoff with top 2 seeds getting a bye and the 6th seed is a play in.

That’s the million dollar question. Needs to be revised given the conference re-alignment that happened after the format was developed

Not sure it should be more than 2 from any conference. If you're 3rd or 4th in your conference you've had ample opportunities and didn't take them.
