Mostly, let's hope those in Gainesville (especially in areas of the more direct path) come out clean. Then let's play some ball.

Anyone else think the changing font size is odd?

I read it as someone yelling at the beginning and calming down a little and then yelling again and finishing off calm.

The fact that Gainesville will not be directly hit means nothing. LSU still has to fly in and emergency responders may also be needed in other parts of the state. I think they are being very optimistic here.

I'm waiting to hear what Nash says.

Nash Roberts? How old are you BobABooey? I use to watch Mel and Nash in New Orleans back in the 50's. Good times. Jax, Regal and Falstaff: where did all the good times go. I'm over here in Palm C ity, FL putting up shudders and getting ready for Matthew. Hope he passes offshore.

Mel Levitt? Didn't he host Varsity Quiz Bowl too? Jimmy Steele doing the sports on channel 6 (I think). He had a coffee cup with who knows what in it and would "raise the victory cup" to a team that won and take a drink. Hap doing the Fairgrounds results on 4....good times.

It makes absolutely no sense. Someone in their communications office has a shitty understanding of "trendy" typesets.

I think the best thing that can happen for LSU is to play this game at its original site, date and time. This football team is ready to go into the Swamp and come away with a win.

The last 2 updates on Intellicast have brought the Hurricane closer to Florida. Where Gainesvlle wasn't even in the yellow, it's now in the orange which says 60 mph winds. Don't blame me, blame the hurricane trackers.

It'll get postponed

They should move the game to Tiger Stadium. There, I called it. Will anyone listen to me? Probably not.

"If the hurricane stays on its current track..." That's a pretty big "if"...stands to reason that if they are evacuating, the game will be postponed.

Frustrating, bought tickets to South Carolina last year and the same thing happened. Looking forward to the 3:00 announcement.

We are flying in Thursday and I really don't know what the airlines are going to do yet. I may get there and not be able to get for a few days!

Though the storm is devastating when it hits, but it is always the aftermath that is where the real issues arise. Power, Housing, Roads, Transportation. It will be interesting with a State of Emergency in place whether they play or not.

Those of you going to GNV check your reservations, State of FL is likely to commandeer Hotel rooms for 1st Responders and Utility Crews

You people are pitiful pulling for this storm to effect people on Florida just to get a football game moved to BR that most of you likely wouldn't even attend

Guess it's no time for jokes. Because, you know, people from Louisiana really like to wish hurricanes on people. Lighten up, Francis.

As big of an LSU fan as I am, I will not celebrate people going through a potentially devastating storm so we get an extra home game.
