I'm as critical of O as anybody, but it's the first week of spring practice with two inexperienced quarterbacks. What purpose does it serve to name a starter now with so much practice time left to go? Not to mention they're having to learn a new offense (for which O does deserve criticism).

I think you may be right. Seems like O made promises to both Brennan and Narcisse that they would start, and now he’s going to have to reneg on one of those promises. Both have the skills to be starting QBs at big-time programs, so you really can’t blame either one of they decide to transfer. They knew it was gonna be a battle when they signed, and that one of them was going to lose.

Which makes me think the one that is going to be pissed in Brennan.
