The LSU quarterback competition is "even" so far between Myles Brennan, Lowell Narcisse, and Justin McMillan according to head coach Ed Orgeron.

Orgeron met with the media Thursday and hinted that they could lose a quarterback after the spring and possibly add a transfer QB over the summer.

2 QB system and stingy defense is going to run the table starting with the Caniacs. Miles and Narcisse gonna jam

Anyone else get the sinking feeling that this is just a slightly less classy version of Les?

Lol, I've been saying for months now that we'd be one less QB before the football season got here, and looks like it's going to be happening even sooner. Should have gone way harder after QB prospects this year considering this was almost certain to happen.

But none of the good ones appeared interested...

Maybe we could get a really good JC QB... like Lindsey Scott. Oh wait...

He's going claim things are even going into the summer as well. He can't afford to announce the starter until fall camp...even if he's already made the decision in his mind.

Ed Orgeron is going to ruin this program. He didn't even sign a QB in the last recruiting class.

He should promise them a dual role. You can’t ride with just one QB with no experience. How they practice and how they play under game pressure is completely different. I wouldn’t ride with one.

So your ride 3 with no experience.

That’s why MB should have seen playing time over noodle arm last year. Especially at the end of the year.

What ever these young men choose to do is up to them.

Why the hell does O need to speculate about bringing in a transfer. Keep those thoughts to yourself O. They bring nothing good to the process.

And I wanted to post something similar to what you’re saying... idky O has to say more than he has too... that sh#t just burns me up! I mean does O really need to say that someone may possibly transfer if they lose the QB competition?!?!? Damn I mean y don’t cha just tell every damn thing that’s going on in the LSU building bc you’re pretty darn close!

Justin’s going nowhere. I believe we will lose either Brennan or Narcisse, depending on who is the “chosen one”.

I think you may be right. Seems like O made promises to both Brennan and Narcisse that they would start, and now he’s going to have to reneg on one of those promises. Both have the skills to be starting QBs at big-time programs, so you really can’t blame either one of they decide to transfer. They knew it was gonna be a battle when they signed, and that one of them was going to lose.

Which makes me think the one that is going to be pissed in Brennan.

Any idea who is on the fence about transferring out of the program?

Not trying to defend O here, but had he declared a starter you same people would be crying because he's not letting them compete

We’re what, not a week in, and we don’t want to declare a grand forever winner yet? Not surprising.

A lot of people thought Brennan starting was a given, but Narcisse is 100% now and his size, arm, and all-around skill set are tough to ignore. McMillan is on his way out.

If that's what was meant by O's vague talk, that's good for the program.

Wow. You must be phsychic because I thought O was simply not alienating any of the 3 QBs after a whopping 1 week of practice. I read absolutely nothing into O's comments. Your Narcisse man-crush is showing. Lol.

Well great Qb issues! if one of the young guys leaves after the spring then We could be an injury away from a terrible season.
