A recent release from EA Sports on the highly anticipated College Football 25 video game revealed that creators of the game were in Baton Rouge in 2022 for LSU's overtime win over Alabama to capture the crowd noise.
quote:

CROWD NOISE
Over the last two seasons, we worked with ESPN to capture crowd audio straight from their broadcasts. From Autzen Stadium to Death Valley (both of them), and more, this content will function as our crowd noise, swells, and reactions that you’ll experience in every game you play.

Remember that OT game from 2022 between LSU and Alabama? Yeah, we were there. And we got all of it.

In addition to that game in Baton Rouge, we ended up capturing crowd noise from 41 games in places like Oregon State, Georgia, Florida State, Duke, UCLA, Texas, West Virginia, Georgia Tech, Miami, Ole Miss, Missouri, Kentucky, NC State, North Carolina, USC, Florida, Auburn, Louisville, Washington, Alabama, Michigan and from the previously mentioned, LSU, Clemson and Oregon.

Wish they could capture the noise from 20 years ago…. Much louder and better engagement then recent 5 to 7 years.

This was my favorite LSU game all time to watch. Only really been watching since 2010, but don't remember any other game that brought more dopamine to my brain than this game. Either that or 2019 Bama.

How the hell did the EA developers go to that game in person and not rank TS as the toughest stadium to play in? We registered on the damn richter scale twice that night

Then how is Tiger Stadium ranked 3rd and kyle field 1st? I’m assuming having the all male cheerleaders appealed to some California programmers?

4th quarter and OT of that game was peak college football atmosphere.

So was the game last year in Tuscaloosa.

All the national guys who travel acknowledge those games when close are as good as it gets in CFB.

Tuscaloosa? For real?
It was impressive, but nowhere near the OT game.

go watch the Herbi and Fowler vid of them on the plane after it. It looks like they had the most fun they've ever had calling a game.

NCAA 2006 on PS2 was the best version of EA NCAA Football ever. I wish they would make a game that’s as good as that one was again.
