LSU linebacker Damone Clark is already on the road to recovery after undergoing spinal fusion surgery for a herniated disk that was discovered at the NFL Combine back in March.

Clark was expected to be an early draft pick before the injury but will now likely wait longer to hear his name called this weekend during the NFL Draft.

On Wednesday, Clark sent out the following inspirational tweet about his comeback.

135 tackles, 15 tfl, 5.5 sacks, 2 ff, and an interception. He's also just 21. Gonna be a steal for someone.

However drafts him is getting a steal. If he stays healthy, I'd put money that he's a multi-year Pro-Bowler.

Glad he didn't get hurt in that bowl game. That would have probably ended his career.

I haven’t seen his latest projections but it would be nice if he fell to the saints. He’s gonna be a good pro and he’s not gonna get drafted where he should. Any team that gets him is gonna get a stud.

Wish he could play for LSU next season. I hate this for him because he deserved more money than what he is going to get now. But it is still going to be a good amount of money. Get better Damone. Can't wait to see what you can do next year.
