College Football Insider Bruce Feldman was on the Paul Finebaum show this week and talked about what he thinks former LSU coach Ed Orgeron will do next football season. Per On3:
quote:

“My guess is he is probably going to do TV in some form next year,” Feldman said of Orgeron. “I don’t know if that means he’ll be a colleague of yours at ESPN or where he ends up. I think the thing that will be interesting with him is he has a ton of stories and is obviously a colorful character. I think a lot of times – as you know – in TV, it’s can you tell stories that people remember and how do you feel about you?

“People will say he has this heavy accent, and can’t understand him, and this and that, and how is it going to translate to TV, but some of the better sports analysts – like at FOX is David Ortiz – is not what it sounds like from a news anchor. I think ultimately for Orgeron, it’s probably going to be where does he feel most comfortable and probably what kind of position they put him in.”
Where do you see Orgeron landing next football season?

I actually think Ed would do well on tv. Despite his shortcomings, the guy has been around the game for a long time and is a very colorful, fun character. I’d watch him

Unqualified. He is qualified to be a DL coach.

He has the cheese to do anything he likes. Can’t see him as a color commentator tho. But stranger things have happened. Old Tarpon grad

I thought he was planning to captain his $17,000,000 shrimp boat that’s parked in Destin.

Back when he was called Fred Flintstone and other” I’m pretty dumb CoonAss”. I took it as a slight against my Cajun heritage . Now after he destroyed LSU football in less than two years he deserved every moniker he got. Also he needs to start dating AOC a dumb as rocks politician. Perfect match.

I don't think his PC is good enuf to last very long @ any TV job, much less espn...JC Politz comes to mind...

Ed’s tactical expertise would be a fascinating listen for sure. The man knows strategy and how to scheme against anything

Lol, good one. I think your sarcasm didn't translate well enough for most people to get it... As long as he keeps the mic up like he did on the sidelines here, he's probably as good as anyone. Just as long as he makes the best coordinator, I mean co-host hires.

What program would hire that dope to run it? No AD could be that dumb.

He has a face for radio and a voice no one can take for long periods of time. I love the guy. But as I have said on another post. The language he speaks is to hard to decipher and change it to English on the fly.

Am I the only one that doesn't find it at all hard to understand Orgeron? I mean his voice does sound like a 4 pack a day smoker at times but ive never found myself wondering “What” he said, its more like “Why the Fk” did he say it!!
