During his postgame press conference following Saturday's 49-25 loss to Texas A&M, Brian Kelly faced tough questions about his hot seat at LSU.

Question: "Brian, you talked about this being an 'all-in' year for the team, and it really hasn't gone that way. What level of concern do you have for yourself with the faith that programs should have for you?"

"That's out of my hands," Kelly responded. "It's impossible for the head coach that's been here, you know, for four years and 35 years of doing this, to think anything else, but this is my responsibility, and we've got to get it turned around."

"That's not my decision in terms of whether I'm here or not, but that's what I will do as a head coach that's been doing for over three decades, When things are not going well from a football standpoint, the head football coach has to be agile enough, and able to make those changes and find out what we need to do to get our football team to play better."

Kelly ended his press conference on Saturday night with this statement about the disappointing season...

"Our fanbase should be upset. They have every right to be. That 2nd half was unacceptable, at any level. I have to figure out how we can get our football team to play better football consistently, not just in spurts, but for 4 quarters."

Yeah that won’t help. Let’s pay him all that money to leave and have no money to build a roster lol. I mean let’s be realistic, the first person who needs to be fired today is Sloan

Sloan's hands are tied. Not saying he is a good coach, but you have to realize that Nuss is injured and nobody has the balls to sit him. As a result, play calling is such that they will not throw over the middle with Nuss - Defenses literally do not have to defend the middle of the field. And as a result of piss poor Oline play, every Nuss pass is designed to get out in under two seconds, which means throws to the edges behind the line of scrimmage... over and over. MVB comes in and the first pass is over the middle for a big gain.... same dude calling the plays.

We ran well in the first half and then only one run the entire 2nd half!! That is poor play calling. Sometimes the best defense is a sustained drive with a balanced run/pass Sloan called a very poor game!!

It’s too late to play better, that should have been figured out after the La Tech underperformance at the latest

But they won that game, so any criticism was misplaced obviously.

Mad at you for ineptness. Nuss should’ve been pulled halftime at Ole Miss. The atrocious passes to the flats. It’s all so so bad. Including defense now

"I have to figure out how we can get our football team to play better football" - You could have started MVB over Nuss and Berry over Durham 5 games ago

The first half ending was technically even more unacceptable. Missed extra point then settling for yet another FG. Talk about momentum killers. From hot to warm to oh well

Biggest fraud in the sport. Guys always been just an avg coach. That inflated resume from ND made him look better than he really is. Writing has always been on the wall. Get this Masshole the frick out.

To start off with Coach Kelly you should have never let Tommy Moffitt go from the staff here when you showed up. Last night was a prime example of that, LSU was out muscled and dominated physically by the Aggies in Tiger Stadium. Secondly, Tommy was good enough for the GOAT, Nick Saban, when he was here and the other two head coaches who followed, Les Miles and Ed Oregon. All of whom won a Football National Championship here. Which is something you'll never accomplish here!

Amen he was good enough for Saban, Miles, and O not to mention our BR community. Not for BK tho, he somehow or another new better than three national champion coaches and a community in which Tommy loved. Take your GPS tracking effort and output over grit, determination, and metrics to where ever the F you land BK!

Just one of many examples of BK fricking up the football program.

Kelly just shows up. He has no real plan, cannot make adjustments, just thinks he can play elder statesman and be revered.

No heart.

The program has been exposed as on a major decline on prime time.

That fat, hairy, gay&m fan with a gut celebrating as they took over death valley is bk legacy.

This performance just validates what ever fan and sports reporter knew. From the beginning. We all knew something wasn't right and corrections were not being made. Regardless, he ranted at reporters for asking the obvious, even when we won. So now it's out there for all to see in the naked light of day. We TRIED to tell him so, but his arrogance just blinded him. We'll see going forward (if he has a forward) if he now makes some changes and what those changes will be. It's cathartic to reach this point and have NO expectations, just to wait, see and evaluate what actions others take; either Kelly, or his employers.

NussLess should do the honorable thing and bench himself after calling a "timeout" on the first offensive play of the game.

Before this fella appeared, it was a given that the LSU Tigers would always have a dominent 2nd half of play. With this knucklehead, he gets out-coached in the half-time locker room by the opponent.

Send him away now.
