Coach speak.... he got suspended for the bowl game, got mad and decided to go pro.

One less bi-polar player in the locker room.

Get drafted by the Raiders then fade off into obscurity.

Well, reassigning number 7 next year will no longer get awkward.

Yep, those SECW winning QBs run off receivers. If true, they need to be gone. Touches are not more important than wins.

One less cancer in the locker room.

His departure was the best thing that could have happened. Now maybe we can focus on other WR in the passing game (to include the rest of the team as a whole) instead of trying to pacify one player by making sure he gets his touches.

I miss the good ol days when players wanted to play in bowl games

That's a really great photograph. Boutte looks like he'd rather be anywhere else but there.

Yeah, that one really pissed me off.

I was thinking the same thing about the picture. I wish him luck but he needs to move on. I want young men who want to be tigers. Play hard

At least he is still throwing up the L in that picture.

He does seem to have some Antonio Brown in him.

Why is putting your own self interests ahead of the team now seen as a good thing?

This head case needs to go. What a waste of a #7 issued jersey

It gets to a point where everyone is tired of the drama and it’s best that both parties go their separate ways. If he can play his tape will show and a team will take a risk good for him. You hate to lose talent but this was becoming way too toxic so ultimately it’s going to be addition by subtraction

As the defections keep happening it reminds me of the good ole days when players stayed and played their heart out. That wasn’t very long ago. January 1, 2019 LSU played in the Fiesta a non playoff game. Full roster. Those days are gone forever.

Greedy Williams and Ed Alexander skipped the Fiesta Bowl to prepare for the draft.

Dude you are way off… we had like 2 scholarship DBs available that game because so many opt outs. That’s why they contemplated letting stingley play as an early enrollee.

The picture says it all, Boutte is all about Boutte… good luck in the NFL. We’ll do just fine with Aaron Anderson in the slot, just as talented of a WR without the Me-attitude and all the drama!

Best of wishes but I think he has a lot of growing up that NFL players are not going to tolerate when it comes to their paycheck.

Best of luck to him. WR is one of the few positions where LSU could lose a starter like that and still be ok.
