ESPN College Football analyst Brent Musburger joined "Sports Today" with Charles Hanagriff and Jimmy Ott on ESPN Radio in Baton Rouge and had two big predictions for LSU Football in 2016.

Musburger said that LSU will win the National Championship next season and that running back Leonard Fournette will win the Heisman Trophy.

"You can't win the title every year. We have been in the thick of it most years, but fell just short."

Our SEC record the last 4 years: 6-2, 5-3, 4-4, 5-3.
That's not falling "just short."

Anything less than an 11-1 record next season should be a disappointment for Tiger fans.

@Bige11 did I say anything about a QB? Might want to work on your reading comprehension...

You negatigers are just ridiculous. You can't win the title every year. We have been in the thick of it most years, but fell just short. We won a championship less that a decade ago. Get over yourselves. Btw, Les and Cam have both said they are opening up more next year and even more the year after. And before you say it, no they have never said it before.

I wonder how many different teams he picks for the NC on local radio shows

Jeez, you people are just the worst. What is the point of rooting for a team if you can do nothing put take a dump on them every opportunity you get. LSU football and Les Miles has been nothing but beneficial to the state of Louisiana and this university. We as fans just get to sit back and enjoy it. This is the point of college football, some of you are too dense to realize this.

Most of you think that the last thing LSU needs is Les Miles. But in reality the last thing LSU needs, is you tools as fans.

Lsu101205 ..............LMAO....and how will this change Miles' coaching on the offensive side? What has all that NFL talent done since 2011? So a NC is a lock? keep drinking the kool aid. Miles will stop running at bama only between the tackles???

You people are like moths to a light when someone says something positive about LSU. I used to say negatives were miserable people in jest, but in starting to really believe it. I guess I'll never understand the mindset that makes "fans" rush to be critical of their coach/players/program as if their skepticism makes them a better person.

Well lets see who has won one since Les. Saban, Meyer, Chizik, Jimbo.

So basically y'all are saying people should only hedge their bets on two programs winning a title. Bama or Ohio state and no one else has a chance.

He must be forgetting that Bama has won 3 of the last 4 in TS.
