LSU QB Commit Myles Brennan Meets New OC Matt Canada For The First Time
by Staff Reporter
January 13, 201726 Comments
New LSU offensive coordinator Matt Canda has finally met one of his future quarterbacks.
On the first day of the open recruiting period, Canada stopped by Bay Saint Louis, MS to meet four-star LSU pro-style quarterback commit Myles Brennan. This was the first meeting between the two since Canada was hired.
Brennan was committed to LSU during the entire 2016 Football season but briefly opened up his recruitment while Ed Orgeron searched for his new offensive coordinator. After Canada was hired, Brennan shut down his recruitment and reaffirmed his commitment to the Tigers.
The 6-3, 180-pound prospect is rated the No. 5 pro-style passer in the country for the class of 2017, according to ESPN and 247Sports.
