All teams do this. You throw a bunch of lines in the water early and see which ones get nibbles. Then you focus on those for your out of state prospects.

Holy crap. 11 four star players all out of state. I love it. I still want the best of the best from Louisiana but raiding other states of top talent will pay off.

Well my friend the fence went up this past recruiting cycle Nick Saban went after a majority of LSU signees and came away with zelch. Coach O said he was going to stop the pipeline from Northern Louisiana to Alabama and Nick and his cronies came away with about two prospects with the highest being Salmen 3* CB Eddie Smith while LSU pulled in 11 of the top 20 and 8 of the top 10 so what talents are you talking about. Everybody here wants to shite on Coach O but give the man some credit he said he was going to block out Saban and got damn it he did it in just his second year he stop Bama from cherry picking our best talents. And in 2019 if this continue and the Tigers get the bulk of the top 20 LSU will have a #1 or top 3 recruiting class with the talent in the State next year. GEAUX TIGERS!!!!!!!!!PURPLEREIGN????????
