How is the number 1 RB in THIS state, and has that height, weight and speed combination only ranked 24th and a 3 star?

Because he didn't commit to Alabama. You know these rating services ride Alabama's nutsack. It ticks me off as well.

He'll be a 4 star before the midway point of this season. Depends on how well he does if he gets a 5th.

Yeah, I was wondering the same thing. Agree with the others, if he were recruited by Alabama he'd be a five star. It's all hokum.

3* 4* 5* what really is the difference? Wisconsin is year in year out full of 2 and 3 stars and is one of the most consistent team in college football. Player development is more important IMHO.

Wisconsin hasn't sniffed a national championship either have they? If you guys just want to win 10 games year in and year out, so be it, but most of us want championships. Ask Big Ten champ Michigan St what it feels like to go up against Bama with a bunch of 3 star players.

He's the #1 ranked RB in Louisiana. It's all about locking down the borders. This kid is better than his 3-star rating. Some of y'all seriously need to shut up and wait until signing day at least!

That's what I was wondering. He will most likely upgrade to 4 star before he's done with high school.

LSU doesn't just have 3*s on roster. We have 3* 4* and plenty of 5* talent. Key is getting 5* type talent where it counts. Up the middle of your defense and offense and at the O Tackle positions. If LSU does that we will kick some arse in the coming years. You idiots saying ask Michgan State how it feels to go against bama with a bunch of 3* are pretty ignorant. We've recruited better than Michigan State for decades and we don't only have 3* talent. Not in this class nor the next nor did we in the previous. I swear some of you are 9 year old children. Not only do we have plenty of time left to evaluate more talent, but this coming year is much different then in previous years because of the early signing. Watch what happens this year boys and girls you will be pleasantly surprised. If LSU has a good year on offense, defense and ST like I believe they will, look the frick out. This party has only just begun. HTTDB

in all honesty looking back at lsu star ratings we have more 3 stars who become superstars in college and go on to the pros than we do 5 stars. just do your research from the last 10 years. many, la. stand up!!!!

what you know about Mansfield, la. me and Chris went to church together that boy was 6'4 in the 7th grade. we all knew by high school that he was being recruited off potential. but he got a free ride and got out of Mansfield so I cant hate on him.

247 sports says Tony St Julien is the top RB in the State. Per 247 he A.J. Carter is not even in the top 20 players in the state. Tony is number 11 in the state. Is Tony St Julien a grade risk? I don't get it. But I ain't the Coach. LINK

Exactly...but camp provided enough evidence along with his high school production that he was a better fit than St Julien.
