Four-star JUCO wide receiver Stephen Guidry announced Sunday that he has de-committed for LSU.

The 6-4, 190-pound receiver from Morganza, LA committed to the LSU during the Bayou Picnic recruiting event back in May.

Guidry graduated from Pointe Coupee Central High School in 2014 and enrolled at Hinds Community College in Raymond, MS. He has played at Hinds for the past two season.

The Tigers currently have two four-star wide receivers committed for the class of 2017 in Jhamon Ausbon and Mannie Netherly.

Stephen, you committed when we did not even throw the ball, you committed when we ran toss dive 90% of the time...This thing is evolving and explosive offense is coming in...Get on board kid....Play where your friends and family can come see you every weekend...Do you know what it's gonna be like to walk down Victory Hill before a game and see your classmates from school, your friends and most of all your whole family....Don't count us out my man!!

Any homegrown talent leaving the state is a loss. Louisiana kids first. One state. One Heartbeat.

LSU has to gets things figured out about coaches and then things will fall into place. If we lose a few kids then so be it but LSU is stocked with talent and will be just fine.

Makes sense. Uncertainty... He doesn't know who the coach will be next year which means he doesn't know what offensive system will be in place. That will be settled well before signing day.

Wait... Let me get this straight. A WR de commits over coaching. Has he been watching LSU? Better yet did he watch the Mizzou game? Gage caught a pass. For Christs sake LSU hasn't used a WR since Juice and OBJ which was an abberation under Miles. You want to catch or block?

I know the kid & his people, he's not worth the trouble. Trust me. Also he went to Livonia High School.

Y'all really can't fault the guy for this, and LSU is still his top pick. Let the kid do him, this is a huge decision for him.

Why does a coaching change make him have to "think about his family" now? Nonsensical.

WTF Guidry? Did you watch the Mizzou game? With the new coaching staff youll actually get to "receive" some passes. Unless youre ok playing wide offense tackle.

He still coming. He just wants to gets some visits in. LSU is still his top school. He said so. He'll be signing up to be a Tiger on NSD. And if not, we got two 4 stars to replaced him. I'm pretty sure LSU will be just fine without him.
