Four-star defensive end/outside linebacker Zavier Carter announced Friday that he has committed to LSU.

The 6-5, 205-pound prospect from Atlanta, Georgia chose the Tigers over offers from Alabama, Georgia, Notre Dame, Tennessee, Oklahoma, Florida State, and many other schools.

Carter is rated the No. 8 weakside defensive end in the country for the class of 2021, according to Rivals.

LSU now has eight verbal commitments for the class of 2021 with the addition of Carter.

Man ole man. We are winning big. Amazing when great recruiters have equal budgets and commitments as Bama, GA and Clemson.
