The 6-4, 270-pound lineman from Columbus, Georgia (Carver) originally committed to LSU back in July.

I'm guessing Liberty tried to recruit him, he liked Hugh Freeze but knew he was SEC caliber, and now Freeze is coaching again in the SEC, so it worked out for him.

Lol Great downward move Reed! Like WAY down! I’m not sure what kind of money got you to switch but I am certain that it won’t be near as much as you could have made by staying with LSU and playing for this Matt House defense rather than…….. oh wait we don’t know who’s defense you going play for do we? Wow!

He was only 100% committed to us, so I guess it makes sense if he felt 1000% committed elsewhere….

I ain’t hatin. Go get your money playa. Hope it works out for out there.
(I can’t say I understand the long play for money, as it seems you stood to have more earning potential playing at LSU with the rest of the future millionaires, but I digress.)

To all of the other recruits out there, this is what happens when you aren’t aligned. You get processed.

They better save some money for Freeze though, because it’s going to take a ton to outbid “Liberty Liberty, Liberty!”

Linemen typically take a year or two to develop…if he is not 100% committed to LSU, we would only be developing him for another team. Better to find out now than after his first season. Best of luck to him.
