Elite five-star defensive lineman Jordan Burch will be making his final decision next Wednesday on National Signing Day at noon CT, according to Lou Bezjak with The State.

The Hammond five-star defensive end will lock in his choice at 1 p.m. on Feb. 5 at a signing ceremony at the school, Hammond officials said Tuesday.
The Columbia, South Carolina native committed to the Gamecocks over LSU and Clemson during the early signing period on Dec. 18 but never signed with a school.

His decision not to sign left the door open for LSU, who finished second in his recruitment according to Bezjak.

Burch said LSU finished second and Clemson came in third.
The 6-5, 250-pound prospect from Hammond School is rated the No. 2 defensive end for the class of 2020, according to Rivals and ESPN. 247Sports has Burch as the No. 2 defensive tackle in the country.

Burch and his Mother visited LSU last weekend and are expected to visit South Carolina this weekend before National Signing Day next Wednesday.

Man from with I can remember about DC Bo P. he would have a field day with DL Jordan Burch moving him inside and out. Just imagine Burch and Shelvin in the middle with Shelvin taking on two O-Linemen leaving Burch one on one, hopefully we will be able to see some of that.

Some people just don't have the ability to see things from someone else's point of view. Some LSU fans can't seem to understand why everyone is not an LSU fan. No matter where the kid plays, whether or not he plays at the next level will be up to him and what he puts into it on a daily basis. I hope he goes where he truly wants to be, and not somewhere because someone wants him to go.

Columbia resident here, and former parent of a student at Hammond School's big rival. The two teams are meeting tonight in basketball, and our school is preparing for both coaching staffs to be present. He also published his signing time to be 12 PM Central. Muschchamp may be present at the Burch signing - his son is signing with colorado state on signing day. I would love nothing more than to see his face if Burch flips (and I hope he does!). Supposedly, Muschamp has already been in Kimrey's office giving him the business over the unofficial visit to LSU last weekend.

Easy choice...do you want to contend for NC or play in the Independence Bowl?... do you want to be a STAR and be a 1st round draft choice in the NFL and make Millions more?...think BURROW and remember what he did for LSU and LSU did for him....

C'mon 225 bruh. The kid is from South Carolina...Columbia, South Carolina. Its a tough decision. Don't just assume what this kid values aligns with what you want them to be. Take the homer glasses off for a second. Its a tough thing sometimes.
