LSU landed its 4th commitment in four days when strong-side defensive end Aaron Moffitt announced Monday afternoon that he has committed to the Tigers.

Aaron is the son of LSU strength coach Tommy Moffitt.

The 6-4, 255-pound prospect from Catholic High School in Baton Rouge holds offers from schools like South Carolina, Tulane, Duke, Cal, and Purdue, as well as others. Moffitt was also being heavily recruited by TCU.

LSU now has 11 commitments for the class of 2017 with the addition of Moffitt

Kid must have a good head on his shoulders by the looks of his offer list. Glad he stayed home.

He can play, period. But I would care if he were in a wheelchair, it shows respect and keeps dad here for 5 more years for sure. There are plenty of hacks that get schollies and don't do the work it takes to play. We know he will.

A whole bunch of bitches acting like they know the ins and outs of recruiting. He earned the offer. If anything he would've been a walk on and still got his school payed for. Aarron worked his arse for that offer and proved it last year. Bet he's a 4 star by the end of the season.

I absolutely hate when the idiots come out and compare offers from other schools and use that to determine what they think about a kid. Don't be a freaking sheep. The coaches make offers to guys who they think are good for the program. Dumbasses......

Alright I guess? Besides South Carolina no other offers from any othermajor schools? I don't know about this one..I like coach Moffitt and know him well, but unless your kid is a bonifide superstar I think coaches kids should go elsewhere. Thats just my opinion.

If you watched the tape of his championship game last year you'd see what everyone else did - he was the best player on the field

No other "major schools"...I mean one of those schools produced the #1 pick this year. Some people are too hard to please. We lose and in state kid and/or son of a coach, all hell breaks loose. tgere is more to recruiting than some of you simpletons can seem to comprehend.

LSU doesn't blend in with the other offers. Wonder why that would be.
