ESPN College Basketball analyst Jay Bilas jumped on Twitter Thursday to call out the hypocrisy of the NCAA after reports of Will Wade leaving NC State for LSU hit the internet...
quote:

"Hey NCAA, us more about players that don’t show “loyalty,” don’t want to go through “adversity” and how player movement impacts stability. Tell us more about “tampering” and “poaching.” The Coaches Portal is ALWAYS open. Funny how silent coaches and administrators are about that."

I’m thinking, “I recognize these as words, but I have no idea what their assemblage here could possibly mean.”

Amazing how these blow hards attack LSU but continually turn a blind eye to blue bloods

EXACTLY. Gay Bilas was leading the charge for Wade's head a few years ago , all the while knowing how his beloved Duke cheats as much or more than anyone else. CLASS A HYPOCRITE!!!

Who did your work in college at Duke? You speak and write like a JC dropout.

It's always a problem when LSU does it. If he had been "going home" to Duke it would be crickets for sure.

Nothing Bilas says is wrong. The issue is these smug bitches are only bothered by it enough to speak out….is when it’s schools they dislike benefit. The elitism is putrid.

I doubt Zion Williamson could score a 10 on the ACT but yet he could play at Duke.

People like Bilas and the NCAA are the reason Wade had to leave in the first place. Talk about hypocrisy. I get tired of the “cool white guy” act from guys like him.

If you take off your P&G glasses, he wasn’t attacking LSU. He was attacking the NCAA and the hypocrisy of attempting to limit player movement. Coaches do what is best for themselves and there is no problem with that. Bilas has expressed that publicly. I think Bilas is just saying the NCAA is fighting the wrong battles and they are.

College coaches may be college coaches, but they are still professionals. College athletes are not professionals....IMO it's apples to oranges.

But it’s not there. Even under the old transfer rules equality was found in coaches leaving giving more latitude to players leaving, including not having to burn a year in the transfer.

College athletes are not amateurs. They are PAID professionals.

Bilas, this the New College Sports World that has been generated with paying the players through NIL, the Transfer Portal and with no guidelines or regulations to follow because of the poor way the NCAA handled this.

That clown needs to stop wearing a permanent swim cap and focus on the fact he looks like a man-sized chode.
