storming off the stage was dumb, but what he said prior to it was spot on.

It's because these politicians are all getting paid. Even the ones that "offer" to forgo their paycheck, doesn't mean much. I believe Congressmen / Senators make ~140k/year from their Gov't paychecks. A nice salary.
However, how can almost all of them live in multi million dollar homes and/or own multiple of those homes?
They're all bought and paid for and really don't have the interest of the American people at heart.

“I believe Congressmen / Senators make ~140k/year from their Gov't paychecks”

They make a minimum of $175k PLUS healthcare, federal pension and UNCAPPED per diem/travel costs not including all of their staffs both in DC and in home states.

Storming? He stood up and walked off. But that doesn’t fit the narrative I guess.

SAS, no Americans are pissed off about the useless federal bureaucracy being shut down. Normal Americans don't even notice it.

Wrong. Normal people want Americans with families to get paid for their labor so that they can support them.

Needs to get his facts straight. USA did not "give" a red cent to Argentina. Engaged in a currency swap that the USA stands to make money on. Called buy low sell high and helped stabilize a valuable ally.

How is Argentina a valuable ally? stabilize a "valuable ally" that has defaulted 9 times on its debt? a country that is currently undercutting our soybean farmers to sell to China... which is going to require us to send a multi billion bailout to those same farmers?

He didn't really say much at all in all of that. "People aren't getting paid right now because of the government shut down. That sucks"

Yeah we know.

he's right you know =====

I've always thought the legislators ought to be first ones to have paychecks halted, and last to get them back.
