Former Marine, Trevor Reed, who was detained in Russia for nearly 3 years, is calling for the release of WNBA star Brittney Griner, explaining the conditions in the country are "like you're waking up to a nightmare"...
quote:

Reed, who just was released from Russian custody as part of a prisoner swap in April, asked for a sense of urgency in the Griner case at a rally organized by Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee in the hooper's Houston hometown on Monday.

she broke the law. Why should she receive special treatment that a Russian citizen wouldn't get? I certainly don't want her (or anyone) to be mistreated over there, but sorry, no sympathy here.

Wow I had no idea she was still over there? So is she awaiting trial? Or already sentenced

All these folks need to watch a 1979 movie called Midnight Express. These countries don't Fk around with illegal drugs.

When you break the laws in the another country, with drugs, you have to deal with the consequences. Fact!

I'm sure the Russians are just waiting to see how much this grows to buff up their exchange list. FYI pinkos...no one here cares about a wbna player, so don't hold out to long.

Let her rot realizing her mistake & the fact that with Biden in office the tensions are high & that if Trump was in charge her release would be a legitimate option.

If Trump was in office she would’ve been back in the US weeks ago

You can get the death penalty in Singapore for bringing drugs into the country. Sounds like Griner is getting off easy.

Don't bring drugs to other countries, she gets what the laws says she deserves. This is the same punishment she would get if she was Russian.
