For those that don't want to watch:

$1,391 but included a $245 dinner after the day at the park. Skip the dinner and the booze and the guy would have paid about $1,050 for the day. Not that absurd, to be honest.

$1000 for a day's worth of vacation is not that absurd? Sir, can I send over a resume?

$1,000 a day is EXPENSIVE no matter where you are vacationing. That does not include airfare to/from or the hotel.

@BlackPot Family of 5. $200 per person. At Disney. In today's economy. Is a great deal? No. Absurd? No.

If you wanted to take your children to be groomed. You could have done it for free at your local Democrat Party headquarters.

Just got back from Disneyland in CA. At their version of downtown Disney, a corn dog costs you $12.50. I can buy a box of 22 for $12.84.

The prices are outrageous but good Lord, why are y'all eating every two hours? No wonder this country is so fat.

You can bring in some drinks and snacks of your own. You also don't have to stop every 5 minutes to eat. We did Magic Kingdom from open to close one day and I only remember eating breakfast. Actually no, we ate dinner but it for sure wasn't $245

Any why do people go back? I went years ago, like many years ago. I had enough.

I am leaving Saturday for one day at the park on Sunday. I am not a resident and got the park hopper. My ticket is $240ish. I don't remember the exact number, but it was less than $250.

Disney has been expensive since the dawn of time. Newsflash. Its not a cheap vacation but its a vacation thats awesome. If youre going to Disney to complain about the cost you are one dum son of a bitch.

So spending a whole day at a theme park is around $300 per person. Not bad. The person did the walk up to Disney. Most people who go to Disney plan a trip and use either a travel agent or their website which offers pay plans and has built in discounts. Plus the purchase of the package comes with food options included and meals.
