I like his most recent quote "Social Media made yall way too comfortable with disrespecting people and not getting punched in the face for it". With that said, I have always been and will always will be a fan of Mike Tyson. Yes he had been in a lot of trouble before he started boxing and yes he had some out of the ring problems.. Especially after D'Amato died, but I listen to his podcast from time to time and you really can't help but to like him. He is genuinely a good dude and I think he is at a point where he has found the most peace he has ever found. His wife is the reason he got back into boxing. It started by her suggesting he start exercising more because of the weight he was gaining and he said once he started, he can't just half arse something and before he knew it he was back in the ring. He is a legend.

I don't know if Tyson was ever a hero of mine, but I'll just say it's nice to see an older guy who hasn't given up on life and is still looking to kick some butt. Much respect to him and hope he continues to inspire middle aged dudes like me.

It is not possible to convince me he couldn't beat the slugs that are the top of the heavyweight division. It's a joke that those guys like Fury are "champions"

Fury is an excellent fighter.

It’s a size issue. I think there should be a heavyweight and super heavyweight division. Heavyweight should be <220. These 6’8” guys are gifting at 250+

Did you even watch what Lennox Lewis did to him? No one today is a good as Lewis, but anyone with length and brass balls can keep him away with jabs, then finish him when he wears down. Tyson is a complete beast though.

It was a privilege to see all his fights free on HBO. That is, up until Buster.

That went 10 rounds right? I think Tyson didn't take that fight serious at all. He was looking ahead to fight Holyfield. If I recall, Tyson was a huge favorite, but Buster did what you had to do to beat Tyson. Keep him in the ring as long as possible.
