During this last Saturday's edition of "SEC Nation," former Florida QB Tim Tebow shared his thoughts on Auburn hiring Hugh Freeze...
quote:

“What’s the most important game for Auburn? Alabama,” Tebow said, via 247Sports. “He’s somebody who didn’t back down in a lot of the games, played them competitive, beat them in back to back seasons. He’s an offensive guy, but he also built really good defenses. Fast, physical. This is someone who knows how to build a program and it’s going to be fun to see what happens.”

None of this matters, Prime now coaches CU. It's over for the SEC.

What from Tebow’s past makes you think he’s judgmental?

Wasn’t Tebow really close with Hernandez?

If Nick Saban doesn't turn it around next season, then it is safe to say that the Saban era is over. And if that's the case, then hiring Hugh Freeze because he can "beat" bama is a pointless move. Freeze is an odd guy who preaches Christianity but gets down and dirty with hoes. I'm not sure how well that will play in recruiting. With NIL, Hugh Freeze's greatest skill (cheating) is redundant.

Next season?? its over for Saban this season. Nxt years team will be a real rebuilding year. It will come down to who outcheats the other w/ saban & freeze.

Tebow thought he could make it in MLB so his judgment is questionable.

And you thought this was a clever comment…

Freeze beat Alabama and lost Memphis in the same season. He’ll pull upsets and then lose to incredibly shitty teams.

Hell, he just did it again at Liberty (beat Arkansas, lost to UConn and New Mexico State.

Well to be fair, Arkansas and UConn have the same record. Yeah the schedules are not equal but the record is the record.

People that keep repeating this narrative are idiots. Hell, AU got rid of the coach that was THE most successful against Saban and AL.

we got rid of Gus because he couldn't develop QB's worth a shite, we always lost games we had no business being less than 2 touchdowns ahead. the team, scheme and play calling got generic and stale. a change had to be made.

I don't have a great memory for Tebow quotes but I don't remember him singling someone out to criticize their character or morality, especially if they deserved it.

Tim Tebow played for Urban Meyer. Enough said.
