Any recommendations on a goose hunt outfitter for next year? Want to take my sons 13/8 on a hunt. Also looking at a sand hill crane hunt in Lubbock also if anyone has recommendations for that too.

Tornado Alley in Kansas for the geese. Brandon and Jose do an awesome job.

Crooked wing outfitters in Lubbock for the cranes. They do it right. If you can get Jake for your crane guide, he is awesome. They also have fantastic goose hunting. Trevor is the guy for that.

I’d highly recommend you check out Tornado Valley Outfitters out of Waurika, Oklahoma, they have a website, great bunch of folks and they offer goose, duck, sandhill crane, whitetail, turkey and hog hunts. Reasonably priced, goose hunt with food and lodging is $450, they always kill.

I think that Waurika outfit is the same group that does lodging and thermal hog hunts for 450. If do, I've heard really good things.

ETA--I used my Google machine and it's the same place I was thinking about. I would 100% use them.

Their thermal hunts are spot and stock and include weapon, ammunition, food and lodging. I've never been but I know plenty around here that have gone and loved it.

In fact a buddy of mine was trying to get a few of us together and book in June.

Also adding that if you went to Waurika, you can make a little trip out of it and take your boys out on Texoma to catch stripers. And if you did go there, I can get you free rooms at Choctaw Casino in Durant, OK anytime. My wife gets at least 2 free nights every 14 days. It's a really nice, safe and modern casino. And the striper fishery is the best freshwater available in the US.

They are some really good folks, Issac and his family and friends put alot of their life into Tornado Valley and I’ve heard nothing but good things about it. They also do trips in parts of Kansas and north Texas and they are constantly working to grow, update and improve habitat, they’re getting known now and hunters from all over the US are making visits and spreading the word.
