Pic 6?

On the replay of the pic 6 that Max threw it looked like Moore just gave up on the route and stopped running. Max threw the ball where Moore would end up and he just stopped running the route. Obviously they were not on the same page, but I don't think that one is on Max....thoughts?

Who knows
Maybe the WR was in the right spot and Max threw it to the wrong spot.

Let’s see. First of all it was Moore and not Nabors. Second is cmu was in zone so the receiver did the correct thing. But other than that you are correct.

Announcers stated at least a half dozen times the receiver was supposed to stop the route because of where the LB was. (Stop in the hole of the zone) Had the LB rushed, he (wr) would have been supposed to continue the route. Max threw the ball as the latter. Miscommunication, but it is on Max.

This has been discussed ad nauseam. Receiver read zone coverage and settled underneath, as he should have. Max didn't see it and made a bad play.

Agreed, just didn't know if others saw something I missed.
I guess my bigger point is that the QB always gets blamed. And sometimes it is just an awful throw. But there are so many other moving parts, it's sometimes on the WR...fun to debate at least.

Ah! OK, makes sense...I was listening to the LSU radio call, not the announcers.

Yes, that was quality tv coverage right there. Very well done by the broadcast tesm.

Max misread it, Moore did what he was supposed to do.
