Polaris ranger issues

I have a Polaris ranger 900 that is giving me some kind of electrical issue I can’t figure out for the life of me. It will be running fine then all the sudden lose all power and just idle. Very little if any response with the accelerator. It will then get to the point where it won’t even idle or start. If I take the ground off the battery post and leave it overnight it clears up and runs fine again for a while (maybe a few minutes or a few days) until it does it again. I have checked every wire and connection I can think of and can’t find any issue. I’m at a loss. Anyone ever have a problem like this before and can point me in the right direction?

Sounds like a ground issue to me. Could be as simple as bad connections at the battery (or a bad battery) or something not making good contact with the frame.
I know that’s not what you wanted to hear but electrical issues are a PITA, especially where it’s browning out. The voltage will look good but it will be starved for current. Start at the battery and work backwards with some contact cleaner, a wire brush, and then dielectric grease after.

Pull the codes
When you disconnect the battery you are clearing the codes. This should do it
Turn the key off for 30 seconds. Do the following within 5 seconds: Key ON, OFF, ON, OFF, ON (don't start the engine). Keep your eye on the CEL. The display will either say "Wait" and then the CEL will start blinking; or the CEL will start blinking right away. In either case, count the number of blinks between each long pause (b is blink P is pause= ex b P bb P bbbb P b P bbbbbb P b). The codes are in two-digit numbers so the previous sequence would be 12, 41, 61. 12 = start and 61 = end. 12 may or may not happen.
Hopefully this helps

Its overheating, or it believes it is.
At least that is what mine was doing

The nearest Honda delay and get a pioneer.
We had one at work several years back that would do that,, it went in to the dealership numerous times and never did get fixed...
