You, have no idea what you’re talking about. The core charge is charged to the retailer when they buy the battery and they only pass that cost on to the buyer with no markup. You return or exchange your core, the retailer makes 0 profit off the core. As a matter of fact, we would prefer you pay the core charge and keep your damn core. We have to do a metric ton of paperwork to return cores. So, in closing, frick you.

I work in the aftermarket and have worked on bumping up the core return rate. Our primarily concern is certainly an environmental one. That being said the paperwork and accounting side is not fun, especially in this inflationary environment. It’s also incredible there are states (looking at you New York) that cap core retail. There’s a direct correlation with states that cap the core retail and low core returns.

I also want to say that the shooting for season 5 is almost done

They finished about a couple of weeks ago.

On that note, couldn’t sleep well and ended up watching it early this morning. I finished at 8:00AM and hell what a ride! Loved the season. Hoping I don’t have to wait another year.

Loved episode 6 and Johnny trying to recruit all the chicks.

Chick - “I’m asexual.” Johnny - “that’s great! He’s asexual too” ??

Is the Cuban population getting bigger ? They seem to be the ones that vote Republican.

My wife is from Venezuela and can tell you Venezuelans are also voting heavily Republican these days. Many of those who made it here were very anti-Chavez from the beginning. And those who aren’t, have changed their tune. The Venezuelans in Miami mixed with the Cuban population are forming a pretty big conservative block. A term in the Venezuelan community now is MAGAzuelan for those who support MAGA and the downfall of Maduro.
My wife is from Venezuela and hates this term. None of our Latino friends like it or use it at all. My wife even corrected two of my friends telling them that LatinX is not a real thing and is a distraction from the real problems going on in the Latin American community and to stop using the term because it makes them feel like they are doing something about nothing.

Haven’t watched it in 20 years. Really wish it was on Netflix

I watched it on Prime (via IMDB with ads) over New Year for free after finishing season 3. I don’t know if that’s still an option, but I’d check it out.
Did anyone read Johnny's Facebook message to Ali?

AND THEN IN 1992, IRON EAGLE 3 CAME OUT. YOU KNOW WHAT? I DON'T CARE WHAT THE CRITICS SAY, I THOUGHT IT WAS PRETTY GOOD. NOT AS GOOD AS IRON EAGLE 1 AND IRON EAGLE 2, BUT HEY, WHAT MOVIE IS? I THINK WAYNE'S WORLD WAS THAT YEAR TOO. THAT ONE WAS OKAY. THOSE NERDS HAD GREAT TASTE IN MUSIC, AND THE CHICK WAS HOT. WHAT WAS SHE DOING WITH HIM? HOW COME THE HOT CHICKS GO FOR THE LOSERS IN THESE MOVIES? ANYWAY, OTHER THAN THAT 1992 WAS A PRETTY QUIET YEAR. GOT FIRED AGAIN, BUT WHAT THE HELL DO THEY KNOW? I DIDN'T LIKE CONSTRUCTION ANYWAY. THEY ALL SPEAK SPANISH AND I'M PRETTY SURE THEY WERE MAKING FUN OF ME SOMETIMES. DO YOU KNOW WHAT A "GRINGO" IS? I STARTED LEARNING A LITTLE BIT OF SPANISH FROM MIGUEL AND HIS FAMILY. I KNOW "HOLA", "PLANTAIN", "TACO" AND "DINERO." PRETTY GOOD, HUH? WHERE WAS I? OH, RIGHT, 1993. THERE WAS THAT DINOSAUR MOVIE. PRETTY GOOD FOR THE NINETIES. I MEAN, NOT ANYWHERE NEAR WHAT WE HAD BACK IN THE DAY. REMEMBER PREDATOR? THAT MOVIE WAS BADASS! THIS DINOSAUR THING WAS PRETTY COOL BUT TOO MUCH SCIENCEY STUFF FOR ME. I GUESS YOU PROBABLY LIKED THAT THOUGH, RIGHT? I MEAN, YOU'RE A DOCTOR NOW. I COULD NEVER BE A DOCTOR. NOT AFTER THAT INCIDENT AT COMMUNITY COLLEGE (I TALKED ABOUT THAT A COUPLE PARAGRAPHS AGO, DOES FACEBOOK LET YOU GO BACK AND REREAD?) STILL THINK THEY OVERREACTED. ALL THE GREAT SCIENTISTS SET THINGS ON FIRE, RIGHT? LIKE EINSTEIN OR WHOEVER. ANYWAY, 1993. DUTCH GOT ARRESTED. THAT ONE WAS PRETTY STUPID. I WAS DRUNK FOR MOST OF IT, BUT I'M PRETTY SURE HE HOTWIRED A GOLF CART FROM THE COUNTRY CLUB. I LOOKED UP FROM THE BAR AND DUTCH IS DRIVING THIS THING AT HIGH SPEED, OR I GUESS AS HIGH AS SOMETHING LIKE THAT CAN GO, AND CRASHES IT INTO THE POOL! THEY HAD TO BRING A CRANE IN TO GET IT OUT. HE DID SOME TIME BUT IT WAS WORTH IT! ANYWAY, I DON'T THINK I'VE BEEN BACK TO THE COUNTRY CLUB SINCE THEN. SID WON'T LET THEM BAN ME BUT THOSE GUYS ARE ALL UPTIGHT, AND THEY ONLY SERVE FOREIGN BEER. IT'S OFFENSIVE. WE WON TWO WORLD WARS DRINKING AMERICAN BEER. WHAT THE HELL HAS BELGIUM EVER DONE EXCEPT GET INVADED? WHO WANTS TO DRINK THAT shite? I THINK I GOT OFF TOPIC AGAIN. LET'S GET BACK TO THE MID-NINETIES. 1994 WAS A SLOW YEAR. THE NINETIES SUCKED, MAN. YOU TURNED ON THE RADIO AND IT WAS JUST CRAP. WHO WRITES A SONG ABOUT BEING A LOSER? AND ALL THOSE GRUNGEY TYPES WITH THE FLANNEL. LET ME TELL YOU MUSIC IS SUPPOSED TO BE ABOUT BEING BADASS AND AWESOME, NOT ABOUT WANTING TO KILL YOURSELF. THAT shite CAN'T BE GOOD FOR KIDS TO HEAR, RIGHT? LOOK AT ME, WORRYING ABOUT WHAT THE KIDS ARE HEARING. I GUESS BEING A PARENT CHANGES YOU. NOT THAT I'M ALL THAT GREAT OF A PARENT. WELL, MIGUEL SEEMS TO LIKE ME OKAY. ROBBY DOESN'T, I MESSED THAT ONE UP PRETTY GOOD. CAN'T EVEN GET THE KID TO TALK TO ME ANYMORE. HE'S STUCK IN THERE FOR A FEW MORE MONTHS, AND HE'S GOT NOBODY. HE WON'T TAKE MY CALLS. I HOPE HIS MOM IS TALKING TO HIM AT LEAST. I THINK IT MIGHT BE TOO LATE FOR ME AND HIM. I MESSED UP TOO MANY TIMES. NOT THAT I'M A TOTAL SCREW UP. I'VE DONE SOME GOOD STUFF TOO! WHICH BRINGS ME TO 1995 AND HOW I MADE TWO GRAND BETTING ON THE OJ TRIAL.
I’m from Knoxville and my family is still there but live in Memphis now.
I know Gerard Pique in Spain is often booed whenever he plays with the Spanish national team as he is pro-Catalan independence. Also, people in Spain (namely the Catalans and Basques) tend to whistle (their equivalent of booing) when they play the Spanish National Anthem before the Copa Del Rey final.
Just finished the season. Wow. I’m pumped for season 5. Maybe it’s just me, but the amount of corruption shown in this season makes the Colombians look more ethical.

One of my favorites for sure. I'm really going to miss his show and his storytelling ability. As many on here have already said, he had my dream job.

I don't know if this has been mentioned, but Parts Unknown is leaving Netflix on June 16th for those who want to watch.
Thanks for this. In the middle of my rewatch for the first time in probably 10 years. This is such a great movie.

re: Who here is bilingual?

I learned Spanish while I studied abroad in Spain and Argentina. While living in Argentina, I lived a bunch of Brazilians. I learned Portuguese from them.

I spent a year in France for work, so I learned French there.

While in Spain, I made plenty of friends from Catalonia. So I picked up on Catalan pretty quickly. It was like a mix of Spanish and French. I then found some series in Catalan that I liked and became more fluent from watching that.

My mom is from the Philippines, so I taught myself Tagalog. The Spanish really helped in learning Tagalog although they're two really different languages.

I'm conversational in German and Italian.

DuoLingo is the way to go. It's free too, so that will save you a decent amount of money.

I tried to learn Tagalog on the Rosetta Stone years ago. After a while, I decided to try what I learned with my mom. My mom said I sounded too formal and that no one would say that. I speak Spanish and French as well, so I tried to see if it was similar with those Rosetta Stones. I found that to also be the case.

I also didn't find a lot of the material to be practical as well. You're hardly ever going to use sentences like "the clown jumps" or "the sky is blue." I think finding music on Youtube and reading news will help you learn quicker than the Rosetta Stone.
I live in Tennessee and got 10/10. That was a fairly easy test, and I am fairly disappointed in my fellow Tennesseans that couldn't pass that.

Loved him his first two seasons. He got super annoying though.

That was intentional. I met the real Jim Halpert once. He told me how Greg Daniels named the character after him since they were best friends. He told me that their other childhood friend was disappointed that he didn't get a character, so he begged for a character on the show persistently. Greg Daniels relented and told him he'd be the most annoying character on the show. His name was Andy Bernard.

At first I thought it was my least favorite of all three seasons, but after a rewatch, I think I may like it more than the first two. I thought the acting was good too. It had way better pacing than the second season. The Jorge storyline also kept me intrigued. I just read At the Devil's Table, which is about Jorge and him becoming an informant for the DEA. An excellent read for anyone who wants to learn more.
After watching this season, I went out and bought a book about Jorge Salcedo, called At The Devil’s Table. It’s about his time with the Cali Cartel and joining the DEA.

I’m a few chapters in and an excellent read for anyone who wants more insight into the season.
 that was gold. I would probably pay to see it too.
Just finished the other day. The quality didn't drop with the fall of Pablo. Awesome season. I felt like Jorge really added an extra dynamic to this season. I think my only grip is they went straight to the end of the Cali Cartel. There was definitely some time between the fall of Escobar and the fall of Cali. I could've used more Chepe and Pacho. That being said, I'm ready for Mexico!
This reminds me of Cinema Sin's video on this movie. LINK
