Saw this last night and wow Fielder really out did himself this time. The twist midway through was incredible.

We all know who Holmes is but I would assume none of us know her husband. He’s a fricking nut job just like her and especially later in the film that becomes more clear. There was one scene where Holmes and her husband are talking about their new machine (they are still attempting to bring Theranos back) and Holmes’ parents are watching in utter disbelief. It reminded me of two schizophrenic homelessness persons arguing about something and you are observing as a passerby. There was another scene earlier in the film that was brilliantly summarizes the importance of language and being careful with how you communicate. Overall go see it. So many laugh out loud moments and most people leave conflicted on how they feel about her which I think elevates the film even higher.

Also don’t be surprised if this gets run for best documentary as well as supporting actress

People are saying it’s a must see in theaters but I just can’t understand how a documentary would be better in theaters outside of your imax style nature docs.

The crowd my the showing I went to was great. I think we were all in disbelief of what we were watching.

The main problem with it from reviews is you never get an answer on what is true or false regarding her fraud. I'm still going to see it in the next week or so though

not sure if that’s actually a probe

It doesn’t present itself as an investigative documentary, it’s more like a safari doc but instead of a lion or hippo it observes a Silicon Valley psychopath in its natural habitat

Do a cursory review of what she did. I understood the basics going in. She started a company, made some wild claims about what here machine could do, and it never worked and is believed to intentionally mislead investors about that fact.
