Dell PC laptop won’t power up

Power supply LED lights up. LED on PC near power input lights and then goes off. Nothing else happens. Suggestions?

press and hold power for 1 minute with charger unplugged. then try it
pull the battery and try it only on power cable.
reinstall battery and try again.
replace it.
