LSU has a dominant team. Dominant on offense. Dominant on defense.
This is a NC type team.
But what if they cancel 9 of our 12 games?

Then the SEC would be held in contempt of court and Disney would sue SEC for a lot of money.

They're not gonna cancel the games. Money is the primary reason why the SEC is almost certainly not booting us tomorrow, but even if they did the games would be played. The implications for not only the schools but the local/state economies as a whole would be devastating.

From my understanding that would be hard to do. LSU is immediately going to sue if kicked out. It would be tied up in court cases for a good while. Meanwhile, schedules will proceed until a final decision comes

Like for this year? Not going to happen. Way too much money and potential lawsuits from TV deals. Not to mention it would be punishing all the other teams that would have their game against us cancelled

I agree that it wouldn’t happen until next season. But couldn’t the SEC punish LSU by making them ineligible for the conference championship this year, thus eliminating the possibility of handing the trophy to CLK? Asking for a friend.
