Been following this issue as frequently as I could. Elated to hear the chatter that the backseater was picked up and hope it’s accurate.
That said, I’ve wondered the whole time about the distance the pilot and WSO were apart when they ejected and ultimately landed. A hundred things could have happened that would have prevented them from linking up, and maybe it’s procedure not to. Anyone have any insight on why the pilot seemed to have been picked up quickly while the WSO wasn’t? If this has been discussed, point me to the page.
