Agreed. The rematch with Max at 155 if he beats Charles makes much more sense.
Paddy gained my respect that fight but he was little more than a punching bag for a lot of it. Ilia would give him an unwanted nap in the first round with how he hangs his chin in the air.

Umar vs O'Malley

This is the logical fight, but with Sean finally getting back in the win column and being one of the main cash cows it's hard to believe they throw him against another heavy grappler like Umar.

But the fight absolutely makes sense.

I think that fight would be a super entertaining rematch, and an easy sell, but I don't think Sean did enough to leap frog Merab. He really had to turn it on in that third round for that W.

Hooker just looked like absolute shite

I think the Hooker fight is for pure entertainment. Two far from technical guys that love a brawl. Both are far from title contention if they ever reach it, but I think this will be a slug fest nonetheless!

I agree with the Tai take, I bet he took this to retire at home. Win or lose.

I know that version of Cejudo was a shell of his old self, but Talbott looked light years better in the grappling department than he did against Barcelos. Time for a step up in comp!

Plus, that fight could headline the fight night in China

Obvious ones/Already confirmed-

Gaethje vs. Topuria
Silva vs. Shevchenko

What I'd like to see-

Jean Silva vs. Lerone Murphy in title eliminator
Arnold Allen vs. Patricio Pitbull
Cortes Acosta vs. Gane
O'Malley vs. Sandhagen in title eliminator
Talbott vs. Yadong
If Merab doesn't get the rematch, Merab vs. Umar 2 for title shot
Paddy gets winner of BSD vs. Hooker

Couldn't care less who Rose fights next, and Derrick Lewis needs to retire.

Thoughts?

O'Malley is going to get another undeserved title shot

O'Malley vs. Yan was very close, and entertaining. Deserving or not, that's a banger fight that would be an easy sell.

Do you want accurate info?

I want more than one source honestly. This isn't me saying I'm gonna stop listening to Scone, just don't like the idea of getting all my information from one guy

Best LSU Talk Show/Podcast?

I've always listened to Moscona on AFR and Locked On LSU almost exclusively because that's who my dad listened to, but his know it all attitude and "I told you so" rants get pretty annoying from time to time.

Not saying I'm not listening to him anymore, his info is usually good and I mostly enjoy his shows. Just want other opinions and takes to compare every now and then.

Any suggestions?

Had to look up who this was, and was not surprised at all to see he's an Ole Piss grad
Nah instead he was dancing on players while they recorded it on a 360 camera

My bad, listened to Moscona this morning and he said 18. My own fault for taking his word for fact without checking lol
Was at the UL opener this year that Howard started, and he wasn't good. He got injured in that game I know, but the first 3 1/2 quarters were not impressive at all.

He also had 18 interceptions at Elon.
The problem is you recruit local kids, and if they don't truly love LSU then they're gone after year 1 for more PT or money. It's just what CFB is currently. LSU isn't the only program dealing with this.

Not a bad call, just an oddball rule. I had never heard of it either
