Lafayette Airport (LFT)

Who has flown out of this airport recently? It's been about 10 years since I've been here and good Lord, this is nice. When were all the renovations done? Easy rental car return, tons of seats and outlets before security, nice bathrooms, etc. They did a great job with this airport

Yes, much improved over the old building. Seems to be run better, as well.

I used it before the renovation and it was super easy and quick then. Glad to hear it’s better now.

I have never, but funny enough, I just saw a video literally yesterday showing off the airport and it looks nice.

They did an excellent job with the new airport. Only complaint would probably be parking is pretty tight but the actual airport building and how its run came out great.

Parking is a little snug but the new terminal is quite nice.

The cell phone/ride share lot is probably less than 100 yards from the terminal. Very convenient.

I didn't know there was a rideshare lot. I get picked up every time right outside the front door.

Yes, it is nice. Not the airports fault, but uber can be a pain. Last Sunday at 6:30 it was $32 for an 8!minute ride, and it turned ok 20 minutes for the to get there to pick me up

I often check fares out of LFT to compare to BTR and MSY. It's not really any cheaper than BTR and never cheaper than MSY.

it's much nicer since the renovation. connecting in Dallas, Atl, and Houston gets old but it's nice to be 20 minutes from home when I land.

Not sure if it was because of the game in baton rouge this past weekend, but it was several hundred dollars cheaper to fly to LFT for me than BTR or MSY
