Had Van Pran been a ‘22-‘24 recruit, Davis would’ve got him to LSU, the “he just wanted to leave the state narrative” aside. What that meant was he had no respect, and rightfully so, for James Cregg.
Cregg is back to being an assistant OL coach in the NFL. Not to be confused with being an OL coach ...

Neither Saban or Kirby have ever hired Matt House to be their DC either. A coordinator is certainly helped by talent and position coaches, but can’t be a complete incompetent like House....

I think if Raymond comes back to be the DB coach, the new DC is a DB background guy (Leonhard or Lake).
House will be a LB coach in the NFL next year, probably in Green Bay or LA/Chargers.
I just can’t believe Kelly is that stubborn or ignorant to bring him back. It’s been 2 years of barely compe...

Kelly has a formula.
Kelly has the gameplan. Sloan, Wilson, Hankton and Davis run their rooms. The OC executes. Not knocking Denbrock, but the next OC isn’t going to be some guy who dazzled elsewhere with his own offense....

The one move, transfer, signing, opt to return, etc that immediately and with 100% certainty improves this team is House being gone. His level of incompetence is off the charts....

Find it hard to believe a DL coach with the reputation of Davis would come to LSU to work under Matt House. Yes money and other things like coming home are nice, but working for an incompetent DC can be career damaging....

Wiggins was essentially coach-less for 2 years. For a guy who came into college with a great frame and potential that desperately needed coaching and development, it was a bad fit. Hopefully a new DC and new defensive staff will be around to develop the Wiggins’s of the future whether it’s M...

Way I look at it is McKinley is a bigger and better high school player than Wiggins was coming out of high school. Whether he’s a 5* or not is irrelevant.
