Didn't he recently pass away or is that someone else?

The one move, transfer, signing, opt to return, etc that immediately and with 100% certainty improves this team is House being gone. His level of incompetence is off the charts.

Yes Voltiger (RIP) passed away sadly a little while back. Not exactly sure when.

Unpopular opinion: As much as House deserves to get criticized for 2023, he deserves praise for 2022. Thought he did less with more in 2022 and never saw the D being this bad coming this year. Some type of shake up is needed though, or I expect similar results next year.

First, it was one week for player evaluations/interviews, the next week for coaching evaluations once the regular season had ended.

Next, it was we won't make a decision until after NSD so we don't affect the current recruiting class.

Now, it's no changes until after the bowl game.

This is what I'm thinking too. Don't see what's the point of keeping him past the bowl game.

His defense was awful in the latter part of last season. This wasn’t an all of a sudden switch flipped.

It wasn’t as bad as this year, but as he got more control of the defense, it went to crap and this year it was atrocious. Saving grace last year was the DL and then House went and forced our Cain.

He did pass recently but his takes were rarely, if ever, correct.

Fans and media don’t know shite, so why does it matter what any of us says? Kelly has never said when moves are going to happen. He’s not like O spilling the beans in every interview he gives.

History is a better indicator than your own thoughts or feelings. Kelly’s last DC hire at ND (while not changing HC jobs) was made on 1/6- after bowl season. That was Marcus Freeman.

We can also look at Nick Saban for another example. He pushed two coordinators out in this January and didn’t make replacement hires until February. And they weren’t in the playoffs. It was just a regular bowl and recruiting season for them.

Head Coaches are going to do whatever they feel is best for their programs on their own timeline. What we think or want isn’t a factor.
