Beginning to get panicked emails from the staffing agency:

"COMPANY must to have vaccinate proof!"
"MUST COMPLY NOW"
"COMPANY have requested all the employee for vax proof to please provide we proof ASAP.

Yes, contractor staffing is offshored.
I have some Ivermectin thanks to the smart folks here. Haven't taken any because I've been keeping in in case I have some of the more recognizable symptoms.

Thanks for the suggestion. Hadn't thought about that approach.
Not since the last time I checked. Is that a side effect?
Yeah, I feel like that's coming up soon. :banghead: :banghead:
TRUE, but they are all demanding vax proof. Like I said, I provided my proof (wish I'd never had the vax), but redacted info. I have a feeling other companies on the same level will have the same ridiculous requirements.
I work as a contractor for a very large Fortune 500 co. I have lodged a complaint with the agency and with the company itself for the lack of notification. That's a whole other ball of wax.

ETA: Emails from the company had been stating 10/30 to provide proof. However, their contracting agency began spouting the 9/30 date only yesterday. Anyone who MIGHT have considered getting vaxxed wouldn't have had a chance to do so. Something smells wrong with all of it, which is why I called it out to corporate.
I let myself get bullied into getting the one shot (J&J) by my sister who is immunocompromised along w/ my BIL and mother. I truly wish I hadn't because I've not felt right since.

Fast forward to yesterday when I was informed that my company would not allow me to continue working for them unless I uploaded vax proof TODAY. I redacted the MRN, birthdate, and QR codes from the photo. Kind of waiting to see what happens tomorrow. Has anyone done this? I'm ready to tell the company to shove it if what I have provided is not enough.

Might be looking for a new gig soon!
Most employees must be vaxxed by 10/31. Apply for exemption by 10/8.

This on top of all their stupid "equity" bullshite makes me want to GTFO. Actively looking right now.

ETA: Top 10 in Fortune 500
This Beston lantern with charging capabilities is very handy.

Also have this Goal Zero Sherpa power bank.

re: Generator fried Fridge?

A while back, we had a brown out and the compressor on our LG fridge wouldn't come on. We thought it might be fried and LG support was no help.

Finally figured out that the thing went into 'defrost mode' on its own. Used this procedure, which was not in the manual, to get it going again:

1. Open any fridge door.
2. Press and hold REFRIGERATOR and ICE PLUS buttons for 5 seconds.
3. Release both buttons at the beep.
Saw them put one on the line of a nearby pole that was leaning badly. They have since fixed the pole and the flag is gone.
Where? Lots of places aren't open early.
In desperate need of gas. Any more places in our around NO?

Would it be the same for Milltown subdivision and carriage way, which are pretty close to Millers Rowe?

Thanks. I'm not on social media, which is likely why I'm in the dark.

Thibodaux Area

Hello all, I'm seeking info on the conditions around Miller's Rowe subdivision off Thibodaux Bypass Rd by the sugar mill.

Does anyone know anything about how the area fared?

I can't offer much in return other than to provide info on the Lakeview NO area to anyone in need. THANKS, BAWS!
