Could have seen this coming after gangs of Jihadists went on stabbing sprees in Chinese train stations. That doesn't make this right, but it is certainly predictable.

I don’t really understand the end here. What is it exactly that you guys think anyone outside of the Central Committee of the CCP can do about this?
Yes it’s bad. No one disagrees. But people here always seem to act like there is something we could do about it.
There isn’t. No words from any politician in the United States will stop China from doing whatever they want domestically. If anyone could dissuade the Chinese from persecuting Muslim Turks in the region it would be Russia, Turkey, and Pakistan. They don’t seem interested.

Words from a politician? No. Actions like trade embargoes, international pressure from the UN, and freezing their assets? Yes.
Problem is, even the Kingdom dgaf about the Uyghurs enough to even threaten China with withholding oil. The Uyghurs are the wrong stripe of Muslim for the Saudi’s.
