Schefter says Brees almost unretired last year; Florio calls BS

Now, I'm not one to agree with Florio most of the time, but I think he is right. When I saw this on Monday Night Countdown, my first thought was to call it excrement simply because Brees has been open about the uselessness of his throwing arm. I didn't even know the stuff about not being able to leave the reserve/retired list after week 13.
My guess is someone fed Schefty a load of bull and he just went with it.

Brees has said on multiple platforms that he can’t throw with his right arm anymore. Schefter is to the NFL what Finebaum is to the SEC. Shills

Schefter is nothing more than a mouth piece for the NFL who tweets out "feel good" nonsense like this. I don't like Florio, but he can at least be critical of the shield.

Sucks that his arm basically died on him. Even his last season arm would have beat the patriots in that AFC title game, they were horrible.
