Anybody remember that? I sure do. There are so many holes everywhere that they are 3 years away from being .500. We will always have 2006. Chicken ought to just close this board down. A mercy killing

Tanking wouldn't have helped us last year. We'd upgrade to the Tennessee wr who is worse than Tyson but not as injured

They had the 8th pick and passed on Caleb Downs for a WR who has yet to play a snap

The higher the pick would only be the larger the disappointment

We should have tanked as soon as Payton left but people wanted to see those 7-10, 9-8 no playoff seasons with Allen too.

If we would have talked, we could have had Reese.

Much better than Tyson

Tanking implies a choice, that we could be winning if we wanted to, which seems unlikely. I don't know if tanking is the right word, but at this point it seems clear we are not good enough to win consistently and that a top 3 pick would be more beneficial than two or three more wins.

Trade shough for a second or 3rd now while he has value. It will take 2-3 years for this team to have proper talent.

He will be in his 30’s

Get a quarterback with an actual learning stage instead of fricking brandin weeden man unless he’s instantly a top 5 qb he never made sense.

Fair point

I’m just looking at who was taken after Tyson and has actually played. It’s year one so who knows. Tyson may come back second half and look like healthy Chris Olave 2.0

Blow it up and then what?

I’m not saying I disagree but what happens after that?

Do they sell the team and have new leadership besides Gayle and Mickey? If not, what changes?

I don’t doubt he’ll be good but they need a lot more.

Im mad about having an old arse qb no mater what though downvote away. With a 21-23 year old I feel like I have something to look forward too. I don’t have that with Shough he’s already old.

What good would tanking have done,we just would have drafted another player with injury problems. How many players have the SAINTS drafted the last few years that were injuries prone in college 5or 6 1or 2nd rounders. Its a joke.

The Aints plan is coming along i. Keep the Aints a lower level, less market and unproductive club with no upward movement so the international move will not cost so much.
