I'm flying to Denver tomorrow, get there around 10:00, but don't have to be to my meeting until 5:00. Any suggestions for things to do or a really neat place to go eat for lunch? TIA!

Was there recently. I don't love the Denver food scene yet, but there are a few high points.
Steubens is an old favorite. Greasy spoon food like meatloaf (amazing) and reuben (good).
Also had a few good green chile meals too. Taqueria Famiglia was awesome (tiny dump of a place with three tables and dope bison enchiladas).
Also on my list, Snooze, Osteria Marco, Rioja, Esters, Bastiens, Tessa Deli.
Enjoy.

What part of town are you going to be in?

Denver is a shockingly terrible food town. I’m sure there are scattered excellent places to eat but after a dozen visits we’ve yet to find one

As others have said, it's not a great food town.
If you like mexican and are downtown La Loma or Rio are good. Riojas is also good as others have said
Really anything around Larimer Square and the 16th street mall is good not great on the level of other big cities.

Lived in Denver for 8 years. Still my least favorite food city.
