I have been back on the bike now long enough to invest in them. Any brands you would recommend?

I'm a huge fan of Smith Optics. I've got a pair that I bought 25 yrs ago and broke due to my own fault - they replaced them anyway at no cost to me. I was a big fan already and wear their helmets as well but their customer service has made me a customer for life.
Look at Tifosi Optics for a more budget friendly option. I have a pair of these as well and like them but much prefer the Smiths.
Neither of mine are prescription but both do offer that option.

Got my prescription Powsters in, seems like a pretty good value at $200. I’ve got other prescription frames 3x that. I prefer an anti-reflective coating which these don’t have, but will only use them for cycling. I’d buy these again. The prescription area takes up most of the large lens and is ground into the main lens without using inserts.
